Is there a way to compensate different panel thicknesses in the HHS series?

Turnlock has developed a washer or a "distance plate" in order to compensate several different panel thicknesses.

The washers can either be 1.5, 2.0, 3.0 or 3.5mm thickness (T)

When using this part, you need to install it on the stud of the HHS series, before fixing the stud with a retaining washer in the panel.

Why is it so hard to close the HHS series with hand operated studs with sealing gaskets?

There are a few different types of sealed options assembly for quarter turns.

To make a quarter turn sealed on an assembly, you will typically need to add or incorporate gaskets in the assembly.

- In the Medium duty Tiny Housed TurnLock - MTHTL series only for recess types slotted or cross you need  to order also gaskets MTHGOR & MTHGIR

In the HHS series, for some kind of application, you can request the stud in black color by oxydation. The receptacle is also available in balck oxydation on request.

The majority of resquest is for the stud to use with hand like HHSTLWT-*ZB, HHSTLWOT-*ZB, HHSTLFB-*ZB.

We have interest in the HH parts shown below.

Due to the location of the fasteners in the end application, we have some concern with the total head protrusion height.

Even the hex recess head version, however this offers only a slightly lower max height.

Can you supply a spring to use with the HHS-studs?

Yes, we can supply the part HHSSS which is a spring used on the studs.

When unlocked the spring will make sure the stud pops out of the panel.

note though that this needs to be used with the buffer plate HHSSPS

What is the part HHSTLW-16ZBG?

Is the Black glossy coated part of the HHSTLW-16Z version.

The part HHSTLW-16ZBG has the same mechanical and dimensional properties as the part HHSTLW-16Z

Both are made of steel with a zinc plating.

Though the part HHSTLW-16ZBG has a black glossy coating as well.
